Elevated Tasting — $40/person A guided flight of limited-production and reserve Cabernets aged in French, American, and Hungarian oak — crafted for those who appreciate bold, complex reds.
Traditional Tasting Flight — $25/person A relaxed intro to the full McGrail lineup, including our award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve. Both experiences available on our patio or in the tasting room, open daily 11am–5pm (Tues until 7pm). Reservations recommended. Wine Club Members enjoy up to four complimentary tastings per month.

Prefer something intimate? Book a heated Snow Globe Igloo, available December–March, accommodating up to 8 guests (21+) with a $250 wine minimum and up to 2 hours of reservation time. McGrail Vineyards and Winery is located at 5600 Greenville Rd, Livermore, CA 94550, in the heart of the Livermore Valley wine region.
We are open daily from 11AM to 5PM, with extended hours on Tuesdays until 7PM. Last seated tasting begins at 3:30PM. We are closed on Superbowl, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

We offer two tasting options. The Traditional Tasting is $25 per person and includes a guided exploration of our estate-grown favorites. The Elevated Tasting is $40 per person and features limited-production and reserve selections. Wine Club Members enjoy up to four complimentary traditional tastings.
Yes, outside food is always welcome. We love a good picnic on the front lawn. Please note that no outside alcohol is permitted and no on-site cooking or grilling is allowed.
Absolutely. Children are welcome on our expansive front lawn and must be supervised at all times. The seated Panoramic Patio tastings are for guests 21 and older. The front lawn is a great space for families to relax while adults enjoy wine by the glass or bottle.
No pets are allowed on the property. Documented service animals are welcome.
Yes. Our Arbor Cabanas are perfect for private groups of up to 12 guests, with bottle service and stunning valley views included.
