CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:
Part-Time Weekend Tasting Room Associate
THE JOB:
As a Tasting Room Associate, you will create a remarkable experience for all guests from the moment they arrive at McGrail until the moment they leave. You will:
-Greet our guests with exceptional hospitality and make them feel welcome
-Present the history of McGrail Vineyards and the focus of our brand
-Pour our award-winning wines for guests and educate them on McGrail wines
-Promote our Holy McGrail Wine Club and upcoming McGrail events
-Create a positive and enjoyable experience for guests that results in maximizing sales
-Assist with behind-the-scenes functions like opening and closing duties, restocking of wines, cleaning and organizing the tasting room(s), washing dishes, drying and restocking glassware, cleaning restrooms, merchandising areas, setting up tables and chairs, etc.
YOU’RE OUR PERSON IF:
-You love hospitality and enjoy building relationships with those around you
-You are teachable, adaptable, & follow through to get things done
-You’re organized and detail-oriented
-You’re a team player and communicate positively and respectfully to those around you
-You give and receive feedback with a humble, teachable posture
THE MUST HAVES:
-21+ years old with a valid Driver’s License
-Available to work weekends
-Must commit to working a minimum of 4 weekend shifts each month
-Excellent customer service, people, and communication skills
-Basic math, writing, and computer skills
-Ability to speak and read English fluently
-Wine knowledge is preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
-Requires the ability to stand, for potentially long periods of time throughout the workday
-Must be able to lift 42 lbs. (case of wine)
COMPENSATION:
Starting at $16/hour plus tips
