Yoga Flow in the Barrel Room with Joya

Join us at McGrail for the Livermore Valley’s Annual Barrel Tasting Weekend! You can taste wines right out of the barrel, meet our winemaking team, & pre-purchase wines before they have even been bottled! Please note that Barrel Tasting Weekend is the only experience available at McGrail this particular weekend!

Here at McGrail, we will be comparing three Livermore Valley Cabernets from our two properties: Clone 8, Clone 15, and Clone 30 Cabernet. The Cabernets were picked just weeks apart, fermented and aged in a similar fashion, but the vineyard location and clone selection are different. We will have an aroma bar experience for guests to enjoy and some local vendors to shop from! A local food truck will be on site each day with delicious food for purchase!

Join Sip & Script for Modern Calligraphy Fun!

Join us at McGrail Vineyards in Livermore, CA for pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink in this workshop. We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more! The perfect crafty night out!

Tickets include 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Feel free to arrive a little early, settle into your spot, and enjoy award-winning McGrail wines, available for purchase throughout the class. Wine will be offered by the glass and bottle so you can sip and savor at your own pace during the experience. You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks. Class will begin promptly at 5:30 PM!

Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style! If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!

Join us for an unforgettable evening at McGrail Vineyards as we celebrate our 15th Annual Lobster Feed, one of our most loved traditions. For over a decade, we’ve gathered around long tables, rolled up our sleeves, and shared fresh Maine lobster the way it’s meant to be enjoyed – with your hands, plenty of butter, great wine, & even better company!

We’ll be serving a communal, family-style feast featuring freshly harvested Maine lobster with all the classic fixings – prawns, sausage, corn on the cob, potatoes, crusty bread, and lots (and lots) of butter. Every bite is meant to be paired with our award-winning McGrail wines, crafted with care by our winemaking team.

As the sun sets over the vineyard, settle in under the stars, enjoy live music featuring a high-energy band playing your favorite hits – don’t be surprised if you find yourself up and dancing after dinner!

Relax and unwind as Bryan Loweree – a Nashville-based singer/songwriter touring as an original solo acoustic act – takes the stage. Though he now resides in Nashville, Bryan is originally from Manteca and was born right here in Livermore, making this performance a meaningful homecoming you won’t want to miss.
