Each vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon from our estate property has a little something different to offer. Mother Nature blesses us with fabulous growing seasons and then tries our skills with more difficult growing seasons. The idea behind Timeless is to capture the greatness from each vintage and allow for that to shine through in a multi-vintage wine. Enjoy this blend of 2018, 2019, and 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon. We bottled this wine in August of 2023 and bottle aged for an additional 18 months. Timeless Lot 890 is dusk in a glass — ripe, dusty black fruit that smells like the last of the sun-warmed cherries on the picnic table. The nose opens with cherries, blackberries and dried black currants, then blossoms with violet and rose-petal perfume. Cinnamon and warm vanilla arrive like the echo of a campfire, while an undercurrent of thyme, oregano and tarragon adds savory lift. The palate is confident and layered: dark chocolate, cocoa and espresso notes weave with cigar-box, forest-floor and tobacco-leaf complexity. Tannins are polished but present — the acid frame keeps the wine lively and the finish stretches long and dusty, the fruit turning more savory with time. As you sip, it is broad and generous, framed by bright acidity that keeps each bite of fruit fresh.
