Colton Cabernet, named after the McGrail’s youngest grandchild is as vibrant and full of life as little Colton himself. Your nose will immediately grasp herbs and spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, basil and allspice along with traditional Cabernet Sauvignon dark berries like black cherry and blackberry. As this wine meets your palette, you will get a wonderful blend of sweet black cherry, cocoa, blackberry and a hint of mint. This vintage of Coltons Cab has solid acidity mixed with silky tannins and a very nice long finish that concludes with the above named fruits and spices and herbs. This wine would pair ideally with a rosemary and thyme encrusted filet.
