This well balanced wine has aromas of black cherry, cassis, dark cocoa, and white peppercorn. As you let the wine open a little, the nose changes to sweet vanilla, toasty coconut, anise, and dark cherry. On the palate, the wine displays more of the same fruit and hints of tobacco, ripe cassis, mocha and plum. This Cabernet is well rounded, smooth, but has long lasting tannins, it is approachable now, but will age nicely for at least 10 years. This wine pairs wonderfully with a Smoked Tomahawk steak with sweet and sour glaze, Juicy Ribeye, Toasted gnocchi with mushrooms and paprika butter, Slow cooked plum bbq short ribs, Lamb sliders or a Mongolian Beef with spring onions!
