The first wine of our new Celtic Symbol Series to pay homage to our Irish roots, the Tree of Life is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.  The Tree of Life, an ancient Celtic symbol, represents longevity and wisdom, as its sturdy roots permeate the earth and its branches extend toward the sky. May you raise your glass in the conviviality of staying rooted, while reaching for the stars!

The wine opens with a deep, dark intense color and dark fruit aromas.  On the nose, there are notes of roasted coffee, cassis, cranberry liquor, gardenia, white pepper, candied bacon, and herbs. There are rich flavors of cherries, vanilla, baking spice, and earth. The tannins are smooth, paired with nice acidity, and have a nice sweetness from the vanilla as the wine finishes in a lingering fashion. Pairs well with blue cheese, lamb chops with a blueberry herb sauce.
