Deep and dark red colors leads to aromas of black olive, lavender, chocolate mint, tea leaves, sweet rose, baking spice and a hint of cherry. Toasty oak flavors enhance the fruit flavor of the wine. Cassis, nutmeg, cinnamon, with lingering hints of vanilla. The tannins are very smooth, making this wine ready to enjoy. You can pair this with a BBQ bacon burger or a peppered New York steak with a blackberry sauce.
