2020 Kylie Ryan Rosé

$10/glass

Our 2020 Rosé is the first vintage to be exclusively sourced from our Lucky 8 Vineyard, which is located less than 2 miles from our estate property on Tesla Road. Lucky 8 is planted north to south and is farmed for meticulous quality, a farming style similar to that of our estate vineyard. The 2020 Kylie Ryan Rosé was fermented in both stainless steel and experienced red wine barrels, with about 12.5% having been fermented in oak and the remaining 87.5% fermented in stainless steel. This is the first time that our Kylie Ryan Rosé hasn’t been made using red grapes exclusively. This is also the first wine we’ve produced that contains Grenache Blanc grapes from our Lucky 8 Vineyard and we’re very excited about it. In addition to containing 7.5% Grenache Blanc, this wine also contains about 60% Merlot, 29% Malbec, and 5% Sauvignon Blanc. This dry Rosé is the color of watermelon candy and has overwhelming aromas of sweet strawberry, bright red cherry, and vanilla candy. Hints of Meyer lemon, California peach, red delicious apple, white gardenia, and orange blossom can be found on the underside of the nose. On the palate, there is a slight effervescence, a rounded mouthfeel, and medium acidity, with flavors of ripe cherry, strawberry,  bubblegum, and a touch of mint. The finish is long and driven by the sweet fruit and acidity, as notes of grapefruit hang on to your tongue. This wine is like candy in a glass, without even a touch of sugar. Pair this wine with strawberry basil chicken, spicy Thai salad, turkey roulade, watermelon mango salad, or cilantro lime shrimp.

2018 C. Tarantino Cabernet Sauvignon

$16/glass

This wine is produced with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from C. Tarantino Vineyards. Our C. Tarantino Cab spends 18 months in a blend of Hungarian and French oak, with about half being new oak and half being experienced oak. This deep, ruby red Cabernet has the depth and complexity that is found in our estate Cabernet, but with very different characteristics overall. The nose immediately opens with an incredible toasty oak influence. As the aromas begin to unfold, enjoy notes of luscious blackberry, dark cherry, blueberry preserves, and dried cranberry. Allow it to open up for about 30 minutes or so, and you’ll discover black tea, sweet peas, violets, eucalyptus-menthol, tobacco, and wet stone have overtaken the nose. On the palate, raspberry cola, dark currant, red fruit, vanilla, and leather are most notable. Notes of fennel and anise steal the finish, which lingers just long enough. The acidity is excellent and the tannins are like a velvet glove: gripping, but soft and smooth. This wine can easily be enjoyed now, but will continue to improve over the next 5-7 years. Pair this Cabernet with red wine and thyme braised pork, sausage and white bean soup, pork schnitzel with wild mushrooms, herb-flanked tri tip, or pork tenderloin in cinnamon herb black cherry sauce.

Timeless Cabernet Sauvignon, Lot 567

$13/glass

Each vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon from our estate property has a little something different to offer. Mother Nature blesses us with fabulous growing seasons and then tries our skill with more difficult growing seasons. The idea behind Timeless is to capture the greatness from each vintage and allow for that to shine through in a multi-vintage wine. Timeless Lot 567 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from 3 vintages: 2015, 2016, and 2017. This deep, dark garnet Cabernet has tons of fruit on the nose, namely black cherry, cassis, and dark berries, with hints of vanilla and leather. On the palate, this easy-sipping Cabernet has notes of baking spice, graphite, and tobacco along with impressions of dark fruit. The tannins are supple, incredibly smooth, and leave notes of ripe cherry on your tongue. Timeless Cabernet is elegant enough to be enjoyed on its own, but also pairs well with many dishes. Enjoy it alongside a simple charcuterie board with classic salami, aged gouda, and cherry jam on crostini. Timeless Lot 567 would also pair well with beef tagliata and an arugula salad, spaghetti in a bolognese sauce, and an all-American cheeseburger.

BOTTLE: $44 – retail | $37.40 – 15% discount | $35.20 – 20% discount

20177 A Jó Élet, “the Good Life,” Cabernet Sauvignon

$18/glass

A Jó Élet, “The Good Life,” is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from our estate vineyard in the Livermore Valley. We age this wine for nearly 30 months in 100% brand new Hungarian oak barrels, sourced from Kádár and Marchive, with both coopers using tight grain oak. “A jó élet” is the Hungarian translation for “the good life.” The 2017 vintage, which was fantastic for the Livermore Valley, has lent this Cabernet Sauvignon densely concentrated fruit, great structure, and soft, velvety tannins. This wine is so well integrated and demonstrates a classic Cabernet bouquet of dark cherry, cassis, spicy clove, and nutmeg. Secondary aromas include blackberry, fig, plum, cinnamon, oregano, white pepper, jasmine green tea, and rose petal. On the palate, this wine is rich and full-bodied with notes of cocoa, raspberry, dark cherry, vanilla, and, of course, baking spice, which is classic to a Hungarian oak aged Cab. Black currant notes linger along with the elegant tannins and balanced acidity on the finish. Pair this wine with a buttery beef wellington, hangar steak with asparagus salad, chateaubriand, rack of lamb, or a rosemary pepper rib roast with porcini jus.

BOTTLE: $59 – retail | $50.15 – 15% discount | $47.20 – 20% discount
